Do You eat anything special on New Years Day?
I know many different cultures eat special foods for varying reasons on New Years Day, I usually eat pork and sauerkraut. It is supposed to bring luck and prosperity.

Re: Do You eat anything special on New Years Day?
Well Well Well what We miss on New Years Day, Could make Our entire next year. I find it hard to believe that none of You are superstitious? You must consume some type of food or drink to ring in the new Year? To bring luck or best of times??????

Re: Do You eat anything special on New Years Day?
I usually end up eating the remains of the party food from the night before if I went to (or hosted) a house party. If it was more a pub crawl, then whatever's in the fridge.
Unfortunately, I'm not big on tradition. I don't even eat anything special for Christmas unless I'm in the company of someone who wants to. If it were up to me, I wouldn't even have a tree. >>
