CD-RW drives?

whats do you think is the best for the best price..

this is what ive found sofar that i like...

I prefer Plextor, but LiteOn is probably the next best thing, and Newegg.com is having a sale on them:

Sorry to say this but Lite on, i never have liked them, my mate had one of these and it was dodgy as f**k, then he took it back and got a new Lite on CD-rw drive, and it was the same!!!... i never liked Lite on anyways, its too cheap for my likings, like £35 for a 52x24x48x or sumfing, ok its a good deal, but how long will it last, i prefer good old samsung (make of my cd-rw)

Hmm I got a 48x24x48 liteon and I never had any problems with it, infact its been perfect.

Agree Fatman .. I use a LiteOn .. never had anything else .. it has had some " hammer " over the years and, as of yet, never let me down .. @ DMoNUK .. is 3 years long enough lol lol

muhahahaaaa... im the master... i fixed my auto run... i had to edit a wrong binary in the value data box... i put tin the correct binary value in the Value data box... and fwalla.. it works... jig i dont know how.. but ff 00 00 00 got in the value data box.. 99 00 00 00 is whats really in there... damn windows xp.. :mad:

yea... i dont know how the hell it got ****ed up, or how i found it... but i just felt like changing it so i went to the windows help place... looked up the prob i was having, couldnt find it in xp, looked in 98, found the binary code that went in there... put it in, and SMACK... it worked... 2thumbs i was soo pissed when i saw they didnt have it for xp, thought i was going to piss all over my comp and throw it out the window... :mad:
