Spirited away
Spirited away,I only heard of this film a few dayes ago and i heard it won an oscar and got five stares  i also heard it was kinda old lol so some americans here might of already seen it and i just wondered if it was anygood:?

I saw spirited away at my little cousins house. I thought the originality of it and the uniqueness were the ones that gave it an oscar. Other than that it was a pretty WEIRD movie. Especially the part with the pigs (if you've seen it)....
All in all, if your a manga fan (me) I would watch it...

Manga's are the comic books, the movies in japanese drawing style are called anime. 
Try watching Akira, X or Cowboy Bebop, you might like it!
I think Sprited away is superb by the way, only a bit boring...

The reason its late to the UK etc is because people probally thought it wouldnt be succesful in these areas. But now Anime has become more popular they have released it.
I have not seen this film but its from the director who made princess mononoke which was excelent.
