Re: Least favourite genre?
Sports games are the stupidest idea ever. A flight sim can actually be pretty fun if it's done right. I only say this because I consider X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter to be a flight sim, albeit of Star Wars starfighters. And it was pretty fun.

Re: Least favourite genre?
Ok if you figure Xwing games are flight sims then yeah I agree.
Tie Fighter is one of my top ten of all time.
I just wish they'd make more like that, but in this age of uber graphics, it doesn't seem likely

Re: Least favourite genre?
I would say Football games.
How can they keep improving on those games as its the same thing all the time?
I've no idea how those Fifa games keep going (much like tomb raider)

Re: Least favourite genre?
Fighting games, it gets to be pretty dull after awhile playing the computer and doing the same moves over and over again, it's better when playing a human opponent but still, I never been a big fan of the genre.

That's why you hang out with a bunch of friends who play it a lot, and go to the tournaments for 'em.
Of course, it's not really possible to win a tourney, since there are people out there who figure out the stupid glithces in the game that allow you to either die in two moves or get caught in an infinite combo. However, it's still fun to see how far you can get and to see what sorts of other fighting styles people use. I guess there is a chance of winning, though, if you get really good and you figure out how your opponent fights. No fighting style is perfect, some are just harder to figure out than others.
It's always awesome to find a guy who you're on somewhat equal footing with so you both have to really think about what moves to use and when, including blocking. Of course, it's ten times more awesome to be able to beat a guy that everbody says is better than you, because you managed to see through his special unbeatable combo.
